PlotPress (“I,” “me”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information I collect through plotpress.co, how I use it and the choices you have.

What I collect

  • Email signups. When you join the newsletter or download the Book Blueprint, I collect your email address. Signups are confirmed by email before you’re added.

  • Contact form. Your name, email and message.

  • Author intake form. Your name, email and the details you share about your book, goals, online presence and publishing plans.

  • Orientation Sessions. Notes I take during our call. I’ll always ask before recording or using a note-taker, and recaps are only sent with your permission.

  • Website data. Like most websites, plotpress.co uses cookies and basic analytics, such as pages visited and general location, to understand how the site is used.

How I use it

  • To reply to your messages and prepare for your session

  • To deliver the Book Blueprint and any services you purchase

  • To send newsletters and marketing emails, only if you’ve opted in

  • To improve PlotPress and the website

  • To spot common trends across authors. Any insights I share are anonymized and never include your name or book details without your permission

How I share it

I never sell your information. I share it only with the tools that help me run PlotPress, including Squarespace (website and forms), MailerLite (email), Google (form storage) and Zoho (email inbox), plus Google Calendar and payment tools when we work together. If you’d ever bring in a freelancer from the PlotPress network on your project, I’ll ask you first.

I sometimes use AI tools to help organize research and notes. I don’t put your personal contact information into these tools, and I only use services that don’t train on the information I share.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email.

  • Ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@plotpress.co. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and I’ll honor those requests.

  • Control cookies through your browser settings.

How long I keep it

I keep your information only as long as I need it for the purposes above, or as required by law.

Children’s privacy

PlotPress is for adults and isn’t directed to anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I’ll change the date at the top of this page.
